October Novel Prep Challenge

Keep trying and keep at it, I know it's easy to say, but sometimes we just need some time for our characters to manifest where they want to go. To have them give their voice and strike us with that 'eureka!' moment. The prep has shown me some things and even gave me a random character I'm not quite sure what to do with him. But, he might take this to an interesting edge and direction.

It took me nearly a decade to come back to my character I'm focusing NaNo on. I just didn't know how to describe how terrible of a situation she'd be in. I jumped years ahead with the Novel after my finished one and totally took the easy route of being like 'well, there's been some time (5 years or more) so her feelings changed... obviously.' Now, she gets to show me how she gets through it all and still stays her.

Anywho, also keep ranting. They are always a lot of fun to read.
