October Novel Prep Challenge

One thing My husband pointed out this morning is that even in places where she feels safe if something changes, anything no matter how small and no matter how much your sure she didn't notice the change, it will affect her. Her subconscious will pick up on the change. He braces himself when we go into our small Big Star to shop. Our entire county population is less than that of the small town our son moved to. There are never more than 50 people in there at a time including employees. He watches for things a small as them offering Catfish at the Deli the day after they were scheduled to. He watches so he will know what to expect. In places where I am safe, I don't always panic per say. My mind will just zone out. I won't hear half of what he is saying to me, and focusing anything is impossible. It's like being caught staring out into space with no real thought in your head but you're up moving around and doing things.
