October Novel Prep Challenge

Not only did I do a plot outline and ponder subplots, I actually sat down and wrote up a first draft of complete chapter outlines. I just go going and failed to pay attention to the timer. The more that I work on this the more the whole thing keeps evolving. It is like some lab created monster that refuses to obey the rules, lol! I like where this is going; not at all what I originally planned, or who I originally planned as my sole protagonist. The whole shooting match is changed and I can say that I like it. I don't know if that is a good thing or a bad thing. Still trying to figure this one out. With 11 days to go until NaNoWriMo, is it normal to be going through so much plot and character turmoil?
