Perhaps you are referring to the "Sponsored" items that are displayed along with the Type. These can be any type.
I notice when I Browse-By-Type Poetry that the first item listed (upper left) was "Fiction" and further down there was "Short Story." All of these have " Sponsored" in the middle of their listing.
I think your suggestion might be to only display Sponsored items of the Type you're browsing/searching.
