Johnny,

I am glad you are here.

I read two of your items. I wrote this short Review of "Social Media" for your poem:

I really hate social media sometimes.

Writing is an excellent way to deal with emotions. There are two ways you can use it. You can use it to express your feelings as you have done in your poem. I am currently doing that for my NanoRebel project this year.

Here is a short excerpt: Is Daddy Okay? (3rd person limited) from What Matters Most... Open in new Window..

There is another way we can use writing -- we can use it as a distraction to move away from the pain of life for a moment. I have not done that very often but I did it once and reap the benefits to this day.

I wrote:

It had a lasting impact and I mentioned it in "Is Daddy Okay? (3rd person limited)Open in new Window..

I invite you to read and review what I have written and I will plan to write a review of one of your other items later today. (Lord-willing).

God bless and write on!

I guess I will also take this opportunity to introduce you to some of the silliness around here. Writing.Com had a playful side. We make "trinkets".

This is one of the early ones created by The StoryMaster Author Icon:

What do we do with them? We collect them. LOL

Here is a place you can learn more:

Read All About Trinkets Here! ♡ Open in new Window. [E]
This In&Out creates links to "Trinket Treasure Chests" & tells about the first trinkets.

And here is a place YOU can collect about a hundred of them:

Missing Trinkets? Check for them here...

To collect a trinket, click on it and then click COLLECT.

Some are beautiful and some are silly and some have really cool stuff written inside them (you can't see what's on the inside of a trinket until after you collect it.) *Wink*

Have fun! And keep writing!
