Livi's Class Forum for the House of Sensual Prose submit assignments and questions here. |
Thanks for the great feedback and wonderful questions! YES! All assignments are listed in the lesson file. MY GOAL is to ADD more detail to the lesson that helps you understand more and dig deeper into the process. So... Think about it as a (1.) Pre-Lecture that introduces the assignment; (2.) the assignment; and (3.) and additional lecture with even more content to help you with the assignment. When I originally wrote these lessons about 8 years ago, I had just started teaching technical school and was learning how to write good lessons and lesson plans that work in a brick and mortar setting. ((You can't teach anyone to cook over the internet-- I don't care how you do it ![]() In essence, I am actually invested in your success as a writer--- I helped Purple Celebrating 25! ![]() Another key to this class presented in this way is that all emotion has the potential to amp up the sexy as well as paying careful attention to minute details about the character. Details like "a single droplet of sweat slowly trickling down Jessie's sheening chest and disappearing beneath her clinging tank top..." Taken out of context it may sound miserable or kinda disgusting. BUT! In a larger body of work, and the right context, there is sensuality there because we are starting to suggest Jessie's desirable physical form without having to liken her cleavage unto some famous actress's parts. Believe me, if you want to gamble with your writing standing the test of time, people 50 or 60 years from now might remember Louboutin shoes, but nobody's going to remember crap about Kim Kardashian's (sp?) assests. ---If you get my drift. There really IS a method to my madness. Oh, thanks for that self-esteem boost by calling me super! Single mom's super capes get very tattered and torn along life's journey ![]() Love to you all! Liv PS: Choco, "stewing" is a form of anger. Think about it. If someone has pissed you off and you can't get it out of your mind, you are stewing on it and cooking up some mighty fine thoughts of retaliation! ** Images For Use By Upgraded+ Only ** ** Images For Use By Upgraded+ Only ** "Conceit spoils the finest genius. There is not much danger that real talent or goodness will be overlooked long; even if it is, the consciousness of possessing and using it well should satisfy one, and the great charm of all power is modesty.
