I recently paid a visit to relatives in New Mexico, and while there I wrote a story about climbing mountains. A pass time I had available again, having been a mountain climber for all my life I was real happy to be able to once again climb. In the pass of casual conversation my cousin Martin suggested I write a story, or article for the "Catron Courier," a local free periodical for the residents of Catron, County.
I wrote a story about climbing the local (Sugar loaf east) mountain practically in my families back yard. Well the story was excepted, and I was now a published Author.
It is in great part thanks to WDC that I was able to follow through, and had an idea of how to write stories. The encouragement I always find here despite my awful (Slowly improving) punctuation carried the day for my decision to attempt to publish. I'm glad I did as I now have the necessary confidence to do it again, in fact any time I want.
