A reviewing forum for those interested in improving their reviewing skills. |
10-15 might be more manageable, true. For several years, I never did less than 30 per month. Doing 30 in one day isn't that uncommon for me, really... and they're not short fluff either. People do sometimes forget that others may have super busy lives. Even at my most active points here, I was a mom, worked full-time, and went to school full-time. Now, I have two jobs, full-time grad school, and obviously still have a child at home... a special needs child at that. I'm busy. It may seem weird to people, but I usually don't have more than 5-10 minutes per week on here. I'm not spending that time thanking people for reviews. This week, miraculously, I've had about an hour and a half on WDC... and I wrote a poem, a blog post, and two forum posts. It was time better spent. I still need to write a newsletter too, lest I miss another one. ![]() I think the only person who is allowed to complain about what I do or don't do is my husband. Poor guy. ![]() At any rate, whether I'm here much or not, responding to reviews is at the bottom of my priority list. I'd rather spend that time helping a newbie, answering a question in tech support, or giving a quick shout to a friend... if not, you know, writing. |
