It sounds to me like deep down you do realize that you are no different than any other rape victim. It also sounds like the people who need 'forgiveness' are the detective, your so-called friends and the 'man' that did this to you. I'm angered by what happened to you and all that you were put through by EVERYONE involved, but it, sadly, sounds all too familiar...
The detective should have realized that if you were drunk and or drugged, you wouldn't remember much of anything. It does sound like you weren't the first and sadly probably not the last, but now that he is deceased, we all know he is done physically tormenting others, mentally he will probably haunt women for ages to come... I'm sorry, so sorry, the judicial system failed you.
But you sound strong now and I commend you for even having the guts to explain what happened to you, then and now. You did the right thing, even if no one else has told you that.
