My support system is my husband and my dog. Then my brother, kids, my niece and my friends.
The sad fact is that a lot of my support system (My parents and my three close aunts for instance) have passed away in startling numbers. We have lost family and friends at an alarming rate over the past few years.
When I say support system I don't mean that I will dump on them. I mean that if everything went wrong, they would give a kind word and I would do what is needed to help them too. It is only support when it is a two-way street. And it definitely is. I would never expect any of them to rescue me. That's pretty much up to me.
