So swimming for me didn't happen very often and going underwater was prohibited. Well, I went to a swim party and I, too, went down the slide. I thought I could catch myself at the bottom. What a goof. Anyway, I went underwater and couldn't pull myself up to the surface. One of the other kids grabbed a hold of my arm and pulled me up so I could hold onto the side of the pool. It was a traumatizing experience for me. It sounds funny now, but it was awful then.
