No, the nesting of size within size is also not something to rely on. It’s not a real feature and if I can ever stop it via code, I will. With emoticons, I can specifically limit them so they don’t react to nested size tags.
We only go up to 5 intentionally so text (and emoticons) don’t get used in over reaching ways.
Occasional uses are usually not bad, but have folks who make their sigs size 5 times 10. So we maintain some basic sanity limits.
