What's currently available:

The system will automatically create basic address book entries for people you send/receive email to/from if you let it. Click the gear icon at the upper right of the email page to open the settings page, and scroll down to Address Book Options. The Address Book sorts the email addresses alphabetically up or down by the username if you click on that header.

The Completer for user works in the body text box of the compose email. You could use the Completer there to generate the username, and copy/paste the username to the appropriate recipient line. You could also set a Macro to add the @writing.com in the body text box before you copy/paste to the recipient line.

To preload that user in a compose email form, you could use the email option in their right-click handle menu or click their envelope in a user link from any page it's displayed on, including the My Account/Favorite Authors page.

Hope that helps.
