You can interpret the assignment any way you want, so this is just a creative idea, but what if you created a protagonist and an anti-protagonist, two profiles for the same person as if she had multiple personalities? Or somehow personify the parts of her personality that are creating her conflict?

But profiling the characters she blames works, too, and if it helps you develop the story, that's even better.
