October Novel Prep Challenge

Hi guys,

# 5, what technologies are in use? I'm always torn about this. I'm happy to leave cell phones out of my stories, but, this current piece I'm working on for Nano has me wondering?

I also hate to give away what I'm working on bc I feel like it's bad luck (to me obviously, lol), so bear with me. Should I have my character take a video or photo with her cell phone to show proof of something, OR, should I go old school and find some other way to collect the proof needed? Copiers are out - not applicable, as it's something that needs to be captured on video or photo. People pre-cell phones didn't normally have a camera on them all the time. So - opinions/options are welcome.
