I agree with Asterix - speech should be in quotes even if spoken without mouths. You said, "I have robots in my story that talk to my characters." I'm still going to put it in quotation marks, even though you didn't use your mouth to say it. *Wink* A robotic font might add a fun element, but the quotation marks are a must either way.
