It would be awesome if, when giving a merit badge or awardicon within less than 14 days, a warning popped up saying 'This will not qualify for community recognition for another x days, x hours, x minutes.' I always check the date before sending one, but didn't realise that sometimes a person might send a merit badge or awardicon and literally miss that 14 day deadline by minutes or hours just because they only looked at the day. I've probably done that too many times to count.

The system already calculates whether a merit badge or awardicon qualifies for CR, so I'm hoping it won't be too difficult to put a warning in place when sending a merit badge to a member. It could come up on the confirmation screen. It would be a huge help to people like me who send a lot of merit badges and awardicons.
