I think that more than half of the population don't feel any special during the holidays. At least not anymore. I have a feeling people today are only happy on social networks, like, they're trying to present what they think holidays should be alike while in reality things are far harsher. I dunno, everything is so fake today and unnatural as you said. I'd appreciate if a person tells me they are not in the holiday mood for whatever reason than have people forcing their cooking abilities, family matters bullshit all over social networks.
