My daughter isn't an addict. She's a sociopathic personality with total narcissism of the unimaginable kind. No treatment as I had no control over her teenage years, and it didn't show up so clearly until adulthood. Most people cannot imagine what I and others have endured from her. It's been most hard because I share in responsibility for it all, but that doesn't make it my fault, per se. Damn bad circumstances. Her dad's the lifelong addict of mythic proportions of excess, but I get to be the bad guy. I can take it. I just cannot watch it! No way, Jose, not gonna watch it or hear about it from my sister who keeps in touch. The grapevine quakes a couple times a year and I find myself doing deep-breathing exercises
