You know, it's funny. Every year my husband and I say the same thing, "Thank goodness we don't have extended family." There's just no need to do all the traditions that stress people out. And it works for us. I would love to see the commercial version of Christmas that's driven by businesses just die away. When will people learn to just stop? But maybe that's just for people who are less scarred and more innocent, I don't know. Maybe it's for people who have seen and lived in darkness all their life.
