Under Construction - MHWA Retreat

I have NEVER understood the fascination with fireworks but after a family friend was almost beat to death on July 4th, fireworks cause tremendous anxiety and near panic. My PTSD is always highest on July 4th so we don't celebrate with fireworks. Ever. It's a day of honor for my friend Scott, who never fully recovered. He was my hero, and I lost him that day forever, even though he lives with a traumatic brain injury.
