Under Construction - MHWA Retreat

I didn't see my specific disorder depicted. I did see three that come close to showing some of the symptoms. The artists depictions I could identify with are (1) #2 Major Depressive Disorder, (2) #3 Insomnia, and (3) #4 Post Traumatic Stress Disorder, which I suspect resulted from sexual abuse in my preteen and teenage years. I suspect the mental issues I have result from (1) my parents' divorce, and (2) the sexual abuse by J.S.

The depictions, I think, were fairly accurate. I prefer to write about my issues over discussing them with other people. I will discuss under specific conditions. I attempted to discuss the sexual abuse with someone, whom I know was abused in the same way by the same person, and was accused of lying; therefore, I don't discuss the issue with that person any more. It puts a cramp in our communications and relationship.

My only other creative outlets are (1( to listen to uplifting music and (2) look at different art forms.
