I think the best thing I could tell my teenage self is that people treat you how you allow them to treat you, so don't allow them to treat you poorly. There are so many bad situations I could have avoided if I'd only had the confidence to stand up for myself briefly. I've gained a lot more confidence in college and I'm pretty well at the point now where I'll just say, "Nah, that's not gonna work for me." It's surprisingly effective!
