Under Construction - MHWA Retreat

Well, in reference to my mother, the descriptions are spot on in this video. The fear of abandonment thing was a huge one with her. For example, a while back my mother called me to tell me to bring her a stamp and envelope. Since at the time I lived half an hour away and had to be at work in like fifteen minutes, I said no and that she could have one of the able people living with her do it. The result was that she called my cell and home phone over twenty times collectively that day, each message progressively more abusive. Not being willing to miss work over a stamp and envelope in her mind meant I didn't love her.

Although, my mother is a little different because she had a lot of narcissistic qualities. She had to be the center no matter what. When I was a kid, if she wasn't the most noticed at the pool or beach, she'd get necked to make sure she was noticed more. That is just a small example.
