Thank you Charlie for being so candid. It helps me to understand more! I was really surprised at the lost sense of self she spoke of, like there's no place in the world for them, not one that they feel or see. That's... all of this, terribly difficult to deal with. It really does take a lot of strength to deal with this BPD, and now I can see why people call you strong all the time! And courageous.
I really wish there was one pill that could help you and other sufferers of BPD. It sounds very isolating, but being in school at least keeps you 'out there' in the world. For better and worse it seems You have a good ability to see the reality though, at least after, maybe even during episodes, and I know a lot of people don't. That will serve you well. Just remember to keep telling yourself it isn't your fault; it's your responsibility to deal with it best you can, but the origins are obviously from childhood and trauma. All you can likely do is mitigate the damages best you can.
