Man, that does sound like a lot of pressure. You basically had to design a job and now have to prove your worth every day. No wonder you're struggling with coping. How long are you from that two years being up? I think once that probationary period is over, you'll probably be able to ease into the role more because you'll have that validation, like, "Yes, not only do I know that what I do is important, but they know that what I do is important too." It sounds like you're doing something great for the environment and community, which must be so rewarding when stepping back and looking at the position at a big picture level. As far as those resurfacing memories being normal... I have no idea on that, BUT I do know that I have the same thing. Things that resurface from a long time ago and just kind of hang around in my head for a few days. You ever do something and think, this is actively traumatizing me. You're welcome, future self! ? Your poem is amazing, to be fair. Definitely deserving of the Quills nom, but probably not worth the inner turmoil. ![]() Best, Charlie ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ** Images For Use By Upgraded+ Only ** Click Here to Join! ![]() |
