I think it serves a valuable purpose. I think it's helpful. I don't think it's bad at all. The risks are so small! Everything has risks. Everything has side effects. The real question is: Are the small risks and side effects worth attempting in the chance that we can learn, understand and prevent terminal illnesses everywhere? I think it's the key to unlocking the important answers that we need. I don't think it should be left alone, no. There's so much we still don't know about illnesses and prevention of them. We could learn more about the human body. We could learn things that my mind can't even grasp. I absolutely would. I've been wanting to get the testing done for years that tells you which medications work for you and which don't. That's incredible. I've played the guess and check game for too many years. Does this medicine work? Is this going to make me too tired and groggy or will it help? WIll this give me worse depression after taking it? It's so annoying and honestly, risky. I think testing out a bunch of medication that you DON'T KNOW will work for your body type is RISKIER than getting genetic testing. My friend got the medication test done and it worked great for her.
