Definitely agree with everything you've said here, Dominique! There are times when you just need to feel the emotions and if feeding them helps, then so be it. I'll listen to sad music sometimes when I'm upset because it's okay to be sad and to relate to sad music sometimes. I do have to be careful though because I'm the type of person who will totally surround myself with depressing things- like, listen to depressing music, watch depressing movies, read depressing books. That can be kind of like a wormhole depending on my mental state.
