Stability versus change is a really big thing for me. I'm autistic and I have so much trouble with change. Even something as simple as changing what I'm going to eat is a struggle for me, because I samefood a lot, where I'll eat the same thing over and over (currently breakfast is always pancakes, for instance). I have a hard time when plans change, too, and sometimes have a meltdown if too many things change. It becomes too much.
But at the same time, I know that change happens and I don't want to end up so far on the stability/no-change side that it all becomes stagnant. It's just...hard to figure out what a good balance is between the two and what change I can handle and what I can't.
