I love your positive view on time alone. It's so cool that you're able to enjoy your own company. I do think socializing and going out seems a lot more important when you're younger. If you're not going on, people are like, "What are you even doing?" So then you start to feel like you're missing out on things that are going on.
I think it's a vital part of life to be able to enjoy your time alone because there aren't always going to be people around to hang out with you or distract you. It seems that there's a component of distraction there too, at least for me. It's easier to be distracted when you're around people, so if you have things you haven't dealt with, you might avoid being alone where you'd have the time and space to think about those things.
