Under Construction - MHWA Retreat

August Leaf I feel for you with the financial struggle. It is so hard being a single parent sometimes. We want a safe neighborhood for our kids to grow up in, but sometimes it is too expensive to do so. Two of mine are now living on their own and one, which is 18 will be graduating this year, so I don't have those worries so much anymore, but I've been there. It is not easy.

I applaud you for not staying with the guy just to make ends meet. That can be tempting when we are trying to just survive and provide for our kids.
