A support forum for writers dealing with mental illness |
Hi all! I recently joined this group. I just set up a blog/book to begin participating in the April Challenges, so I'm chiming in here to get things rolling. Questions to think about: ![]() ![]() No considerable recent developments - - mother-in-law in assisted living still difficult and declining - - spending a little time with family of friend in hospice and visiting off and on with my pup - - reconnected with a friend from 30+ years ago who will be visiting Colorado soon - - still procrastinating with writing projects, housecleaning, preparing taxes, sorting my clutter, etc. - - health still a challenge (IBD / UC) so while I've made a few commitments lately, even some in the mornings, I did cancel this AM and one on Thurs. AM Still SO lucky to have the best partner in the world! ![]() ![]() OK, I think. Still take on too much. Still cancel when maybe I don't really have to. Still procrastinating . . . working on things that aren't pressing or with looming deadlines while ignoring ones that do have deadlines ![]() ![]() - - must have taxes ready by Tues appt - - need to get started (even at this moment I seem to be avoiding it and/or procrastinating - - beginning new group Tues., softball team, ages 50s - 80s - - got new glove, practiced once so far - - article for History magazine - - have lots of research, haven't compiled text or visited RR Museum or History Colorado regarding photo credits and usage (over a year now of ridiculous procrastination) - - have 2 unread books - - training therapy dog - - went to parents (80s), shopping, hospice - - nieces/nephews/former students - - have several half-packed boxes (care packages) sitting out and half-filled (Rachel & Ben, Erik, Ben, Shelby, Valerie, Martha & Randy, Alli, ...), need to finish up and get rid of clutter - - half of the music books for Claire have arrived...will send hers later (in Germany) ![]() ![]() can't think of anything new to this format and this group still "trying it on", like a sample spoon! Keep writing! Ruth Rodgers ![]() ![]() RRodgersWrites |
