Under Construction - MHWA Retreat

I know we've talked about this before, but I feel pretty much the same way. Before today, I hadn't updated my poetry blog since June of 2017. That's almost two years ago. Sometimes I wonder what the point is of being on a writing site if I'm not going to, ya know, write.

I think we both miss a lot of our old friends on the site who aren't around anymore. I'm hopeful that we'll get some people back because people do disappear and then come back years later and become super active again.

Plus the whole school thing... It's an absolute drain on everything. It's kind of difficult to jump from studying for an exam to writing a poem. And the longer you're in school, the worse it gets, in my opinion. But we'll both be done with it someday and maybe find our muses again.
