What do you think of this quote? Agree? Disagree? Somewhere in between? Why? -I think I agree with it, but it's somewhere in between. If I understand it correctly, then it's like you have to take care of yourself first and when you take care of you, then you'll end up taking care of the people who care about you by proxy. Have you ever experienced a situation where someone you cared for did not care for themselves? What was that experience like for you? -Yes. It was sad and a little frustrating, but I understand because I have a really hard time taking care of myself. So how can I be really mad at someone else for also having difficulty? Although I suppose it depends on the reason. I'm not particularly chuffed with people like guys who think they shouldn't have to learn how to do laundry or clean or cook because that's what women are for, and other situations like that. What personal developments do you need to work on/have you worked on to take better care of yourself for someone else’s sake? -I broke my habit of compulsive lying because of trauma for my ex. I need to work a lot more on self care, especially hygiene. Like I'm not doing really badly, but I know I could do better. I've started doing that more, though, like better care of my hair and trying to nurture/improve the curl in it.
