Some people argue that memoirs are self-indulgent and exploitative. Do you agree or disagree with those people? Why? I suppose that’s highly dependent on who writes this memoir. 13-year old dance prodigy who writes a book about their life? Absolutely. Probably they’ve peaked and now PR wants to make a brand of them. On the other hand, if it’s someone actually influential in not just a “oh look at me” way, then yeah, ho for the memoir if you really feel you’ve got some deep wisdom to impart onto the world. Would you ever consider writing a memoir based on your life? Why or why not? What would you include or exclude? Absolutely not. my life is a mixed up mess right now and there’s really nothing that noteworthy about me that’d qualify as memoir material. Have you ever read any memoirs? If so, which ones have been your favorites? Are there any memoirs on your to-read list? I probably had to in high school or middle school at some point and found them dreadfully boring. Honestly, though, it’d just be easier to give me a list to say “yes/no I have/not read that” because I recall my 7th grade book list being rather extensive, so chances are, I may have and just don’t remember. ** Images For Use By Upgraded+ Only ** ** Images For Use By Upgraded+ Only ** Think you can write for teens?
