It's weird to think about, but before the internet was commonly used for communication people probably didn't have any type of communication with a large group of people. I mean, when you think about how many people you interact with in real life on a daily basis, I don't know about you, but my list is pretty small. Just like my group of friends, my family, Kira, coworkers, and people from school. But it's not like if you go outside you're just chatting up strangers all the time. I think that's why it's so hard to tell if freedom of speech is being abused in real life or if it's just on the internet or what's really going on. And are the things people say on the internet what they really mean or are they just basking in the anonymity of the situation? It's all very interesting to me.
