Are we allowed to...
ask questions here in this forum and right now or should I wait until Oct. 1st?

I have a story (sort of) that has been burning in my brain for months. It emerged from a newspaper clipping that I have been saving, but has made a left turn from the article, itself. I am not sure how to brainstorm this idea. I would like to ask advice if the time is appropriate.
