Salutations, fellow 'SCREAMERS!!!'

As some of you may know and some of you may not, today is 2 DAY/2,000 WORD WEDNESDAY, a.k.a. 'hump' day, in which you have approximately 48 hours to write a story using up to 2,000 words that will frighten WakeUpAndLive so bad that she'll go screaming from her computer and running into the streets, yelling something like "Oh, the horror! The absolute horror! What kind of demented nutcases would write things like that?"

Something like that, anyway.

So here's the prompts you can choose from. Write a story using the following quote EXACTLY:

"Daddy? Why do they want to eat us?"

or

BATS

or

GERMS AND/OR WORMS

You have until noon, Friday, WdC time to enter your stories! And remember: Rule #8 is in full force! *Smirk*
