UPDATES: Feel really guilty for not updating at the end of last week as planned, but equally glad to have set down my goals in this space to motivate me to meet some of them! See updates below, next to each of them. My goals for this week (Monday 1/27 thru Friday 1/31) --Log in to writing.com at least 3 times. Ideally post a comment or two in my Newsfeed, but at least read newsletters via emails. Update: Yes, I did! --Restart exercising, at least twice this week. Also treat minor foot injury so I can begin exercising again with more confidence. Update: Didn't do either of these at all. --Read at least 10 pages of new non-fiction. Update: Exceeded my target by a few pages! --Read at least 15 pages of new fiction. Update: Finally making a dent in my huge stack of new fiction! --Stop checking WhatsApp on Tuesday, Wednesday, Friday. Update: Yes! --Don't use FB Messenger on same weekdays (above). Update: Yes! --Practice Mindfulness 2x. Update: Unfortunately, no. --Continue with online journal 3x nights. (Observation breeds mindfulness!) Update: Yes, I did! --Start new poem. Update: No. Despicable me. Apologies to my muse. --Visit the post office. Update: No; growing pile of mail to send. --Write my niece in Boston. Update: No; growing pile of guilt. |
