I am very sorry to hear that, betsie. I trust that you've saved your work on your computer and can submit it again. As wordsmitty said, that is the antithesis of what we are about here. The goal with criticism is to help the author to grow, not to be beaten down. I would say the same to your friend.

Of course real life (especially the work you are doing, bless you!) is more important, but when time permits I hope both you and your friend will reconsider. Be safe out there!
