I'll go with Seuzz' approach; if there was an open slot (like there is - the successor of Helene Verdier), it wouldn't be from Saratoga Falls. In fact, I'd also risk and say it wouldn't be African either, or at least not from the Francophone side of Africa. Could it be from America? Yes, but it wouldn't be from the main setting of BoM. Perhaps it could be from Canada? Or maybe Honduras? Or maybe the Dominican Republic? Or maybe from Suriname, or Aruba, or Paraguay? Just as much as it could be from the Basque Country, or Norway, or Mongolia, or New Zealand. It's highly likely that the process that culminates in a Stellae checks for particular aspects: one, existing Stellae; two, birthplace of each Stellae. (I'd wager the third would be familial relations to previous Stellae.) Thus, it'd probably take one or two generations before Saratoga Falls (or Acheson, for that) would be considered for another Stellae to be born, and if it were, it wouldn't be a direct descendant of the Prescotts or the Shabblemans. Now: artificial Stellae? That is definitely something to consider. |
