You absolutely can enter my contest! The prompt has to do with blue, but technically, you could write about how you were blue about not getting promoted or how you were wearing a blue shirt when you found out (artistic license if you weren't) and it will always be your favorite shirt now or whatever. Notice the requirements for the emotional aspects. I assume most yellow folks experienced similar emotions, so I think you can probably write about your promotion to yellow using my blue prompt.
