So, Broadcast News meets The Office? It could go as far as The Notebook, but I wouldn't. It's also the unfunny version of Community, with much less compelling characters, in a Public Radio/Television studio atmosphere..PCness in full gear/full doses of feminism/a buffoonish, younger Michael Scott character (unfunny part because of undiagnosed mental illness) in a picturesque Northern Michigan setting.
