October Novel Prep Challenge

I'm glad you're getting a rest from the political campaign commercials. We have a particularly ugly race for the Senate in Iowa, and the sitting Senator has a smear campaign that has targeted every age group - including children's animated shows. Sometimes when my husband and I are watching, we will get several from this particular race in a row.

I've struggled a lot with the political structures in my universe(world). Because I really struggle with the idea that one over-arching structure could govern them all. But it leaves me open for treaties and alliances and different rules in different places, which also makes me dig deeper into who is in this particular area and what they're doing with their knowledge and power.
