My experience has taught me that when I write even when I think I have nothing to write words form into coherent ideas eventually. Doing the write not matter what is created exercise causes the brain to realize that writing will and does happen no matter the situation. As I became better at producing sentences I also gained experience in ordering the sentences so that the thoughts were sensible and started to conform to a story. Writing for NaNo taught me to keep going and to dismiss the editor thus suppressing the editing urge. Reviewing has taught me how to examine word art and find what is not needed. I also recognize what elements will further the story. I have much to learn and the more knowledge I find and retain, the more I need to learn. Reading various genres and authors, reviews, and other writings establish a wide and varied knowledge base from which to continue building a strong foundation and the rest of the writing house. As I build and reach higher and farther I also explore and research. No matter what I do each day I'm reading and writing. These activities are unseperable.
