Well, that's exactly why I got interested. When all I knew about was Cromwell, it was boring. Great. A lot of sour-faced busybodies who were too seasick to cross over to Massachusetts like they should have. But when I got interested enough to dig into the background -- constitutional, ecclesiastical, geopolitical -- all the way back into the reign of James I, and forward through the Restoration and the Glorious Revolution, then I got a lot more interested.
