Yeah I really wouldn't worry too much about it. Lord knows I've got stuff that I'm 50/50 on and it's all for contintuity purposes or consistency. One that I mentioned to Seuzz was the branch where Will becomes Paris Morrow because I like it a lot but Jenny's characterization is way off and there's some other minor stuff there too. That's mostly what I feel Seuzz is getting at. Just making sure the internal stuff remains consistent i.e. characters largely acting in character, details of characters or events staying consistent, that sort of stuff. There's a lot of really early chapters that are going to stand out for those issues because a lot of stuff has developed and solidified only later. I think there's some early stuff with the Garners that's practically unrecognizable since I believe they were just supposed to be bitch popular girls before evolving into their current roles (the prickly Jessica and softer Eva). Quality or things like that have nothing to do with any of it from what I can tell. I can tell you that the most nervous I've been regarding anything was the stuff I wrote with Ursula entirely because I wanted to do something radical to separate her from the other magically interested characters like Braydon and Morgana but that's such a radical lore addition that I did feel it best to run it by Seuzz first. And then there's a few chapters spinning out of the London ones where... let's just say I had some really bad ideas. Whatever you may think realize it's nowhere near as bad or stupid as making K.C. and Dana's mother Fane members because wow wouldn't that be a cool twist? Hint: no. No it wasn't. |
