The Colloquial Essay Discussion Page

So. . . . started making revisions to the group page, more to follow. Also posted the first item which was written by Annab Abderraouf, a graduate student at the University of Béjaïa in Algeria. The article is a bit long and dry, but I found it interesting in relation to the subject of essays and the issues I would like to discuss in our conversation. It deals almost exclusively with the 'formal' type of essay, and while I am going to delve primarily into the 'informal' format, I felt it was a good place to start. Feel free to read and comment. The goal will always be to inspire an essay in response but anything to begin a dialogue is fine. I have finished a review/response to the article that I will post as soon as I can proofread it. At least it's a start and I hope to add more in the coming days.
