It's going to be a difficult week with little time for writing or reading.
My father died during the pandemic, so there were not the traditional things that he would have liked or expected. He had told us what to do for his funeral meal. Now it looks like no end in sight to precautions. Sunday is his birthday, so we're going to have an informal gathering on my patio with the fried chicken, etc. We'll read a verse or two and share some memories. Fewer than 20, but I'm the hostess. Work and planning.
It's also crunch time for turning in the estate papers of a very simple estate, with little money involved, but big room for error.
