A month-long novel-planning challenge with prizes galore. |
I enlarged your GIF and stared at it for a bit. Very...hypnotic. Quite relaxing, minus the fear that I might get hypnotized and die because no one will ever know. On, wait, my computer battery would die eventually than then, hopefully, I'd snap out of it. Anyway, I'll be joining the Zoom discussion from 4RV Publishing called Between the Covers where they talk to authors and illustrators and discuss getting published and such. Very interesting, IMO. I forgot what today's topic is, but I'll be joining at 12:30 pacific time, 3:30 WdC time (I'm pretty sure). Here's the link to register, if anyone is interested. https://docs.google.com/forms/d/e/1FAIpQLSe3bUQyJyBoZ5AhQN-LSVhBU9VMPpqreZsME9Q7... I'll also be watching the Scrivener Zoom on the NaNo site on how to use their software because I am NOT getting it! I haven't finished the tutorial yet, but I don't understand the parts I've done. I'm also not getting the YouTube videos either. Maybe I'm not smart enough for this software? I heard there was a steep learning curve, but seriously? How is it harder than a dual master's at one of the best schools in the nation?!? It seems it is, because I've got a 4.0 GPA in school and am currently failing the tutorial. I'll also be working ahead a bit and hopefully putting some of my ideas together. I've now got, I think, nearly 18 pages of ideas that need to get more organized. I thought I was going to organize them on Scrivener, but we'll see about that. It might not happen... Edit: Just checked--the topic is Christian books this month. But there is probably value in the discussion, even if you don't write in that niche. I don't write Christmas books, last month's discussion, and I found value there. If you have any questions, you can contact Vivian for more information. And be sure to check out my challenge
